Wharehine is located about 40 mins from Matakana. You could visit the local Matakana farmers market, visit Omaha beach and have a picnic on the golden sand or have lunch at a number of different wineries – there are plenty of options to suit whatever you’re in to.

When you arrive, you can make your own way to the charming cottage with private check in. Enjoy a beautiful bath in the outdoor tub with the lovely pamper package, nestle yourself in to the cushions of the little hut and read a book overlooking the pond, bring on your creative side and try some art, play a game of chess beside the pond, the options are endless!
